First and foremost, we would like to thank all of our students, parents, volunteers, teachers, administration and school staff for a most successful fundraiser. We had an incredible turnout of volunteers. It is always so amazing to see all of our students and their parents out there running on the track, having such a great time participating in an event that will benefit each and every student at our school.

So, without further ado, I will announce our RTG fundraising total....drum roll please...

Become a Member of our KES PTO

Our Mission is to support and enhance the learning environment and community spirit of Kendall Elementary School (KES) as identified by parents, teachers, and staff. Together we can make a difference in our children’s education.

Our goal this year is 100% membership in our PTO!

The PTO serves the school in many ways including supplies that benefit individual classrooms to big ticket items that benefit the entire school. 2011-2012 PTO Meeting Dates

PTO meetings are held in the cafeteria beginning at 8:00 am and generally last an hour. Meetings include a report from the Treasurer, a report from the Principal, activity updates, teacher grant reviews and any other items for discussion.

Special Note to Parents & Teachers:

Please note that a $25 gift card, to the store of choice, for the teacher & a free Ice Cream for their students will be awarded for the top class at each grade level with the highest percentage of PTO Memberships processed by the Membership Drive Deadline. (There can only be one winning class per grade so drawings will be conducted for any grade levels with a tie)

What a great way to show your classroom support and thank your child’s teacher.

Are you a Champion Charger football fan in K-6^th grade?

Then you can be a Chargin’ Charger and welcome in the Champion Charger Varsity Football team at each home game. The cost is $20.00 for the first child and $15 for each additional child in the family. This will include your very own “Chargin’ Charger “t-shirt, as well as a night with the Champion Chargers playing ball and eating hotdogs on October 18^th at 6:00p.m. at Champion High School football Stadium.

Hershey Kiss Sales

Hershey's Kiss sales are kicking off tomorrow, February 8 and will be sold through Friday, February 11. Students can purchase a printed Valentine's card with an attached Hershey's Kiss during their lunchtime. These can be sent to friends, classmates, teachers and staff. Each Hershey's Kiss is only 25¢, and will be delivered to classrooms on February 14.
